Solar calculators for Ontario homes
11 calculators, each answering one question and showing its arithmetic while it does. Nothing here asks for an email address before it gives you a number, and every rate, yield figure and price is attributed to the source it was read off.

The limits
What these tools will not do
None of them is a quote. SolarPanelFinder has no relationship with any company in this directory, takes no requests and passes nothing to anyone, so nothing on this page is trying to move you into a form. The numbers are what public sources say, worked against the figures you type in.
None of them can see your roof. Pitch, covering, shading in December, the state of your electrical panel and how hard the array is to reach are the things that move a real quote most, and they are exactly what a web page cannot know. Treat a result here as the range a quote should land near, and ask an installer to explain any quote that sits well outside it.
None of them models a rebate. Ontario's programs come with conditions that decide whether you qualify at all, and the choice between a rebate and a net metering agreement is a genuine either-or that depends on your own consumption pattern. That belongs on its own page, with every condition attached, and it is here.
When the numbers make sense, compare the companies
This site does not take quote requests and passes nothing to anyone. Every profile shows the company's own phone number and website, so you contact whoever you want to, directly.
